Baden-Württemberg: 60,000 teachers' workstations migrated to openDesk
The state of Baden-Württemberg has been relying on openDesk for its Digital Workplace for Teachers (DAP) since the start of the new school year. To date, almost 60,000 workstations have been migrated to the ZenDiS Office & Collaboration Suite.
The digital workplace is part of the SCHULE@BW digital education platform. According to a press release from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, the move to openDesk went smoothly.
"The implementation of the digital workplace for teachers with openDesk once again demonstrates the advantages of the modular approach. By not only adding new services, but also continuing existing services on a new basis, the modular approach is proving to be a successful model," says Sandra Boser MdL, the State Secretary responsible for digitalization, adding: "With openDesk and ZenDiS, we are also taking another step towards even more digital sovereignty and thus more independence."
