Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is largely compatible with the requirements of the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (08-2018) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) due to the following exceptions: The sign language representations of the essential content on the start page and the navigation are currently still being processed.

In accordance with § 2 Scope of application of BITV 2.0 in conjunction with Article 1(4) of EU Directive 2016/2102, the incompatibilities and exceptions are listed below:

Non-accessible content

• The website www.zendis.de does not offer a sign language video in accordance with BITV 2.0

• The website www.zendis.de does not offer any information in plain language

• The application forms are integrated via an external tool (recruitee), over which we unfortunately have no control. These forms have the following accessibility limitations: partially missing labels for form fields, low color contrast of buttons, missing semantic structure.

• The embedded PDF documents on the website www.zendis.de are not designed to be accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1/BITV 2.0 (e.g. no tags, no correct reading order, missing alternative texts in graphics).

Arbitration procedure

The Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities has an arbitration board in accordance with Section 16 BGG. The arbitration board has the task of resolving conflicts between people with disabilities and federal public bodies.

You can contact the arbitration board if you are not satisfied with the answers from the above-mentioned contact option. The aim is not to find winners or losers. Rather, the aim is to find a solution to a problem together and out of court with the help of the conciliation body.
