The cabinet in Lower Saxony has dealt with the requirements for participation in ZenDiS. This clears the way for accession.

Bochum/Berlin, October 30, 2024: Now that the Lower Saxony cabinet has dealt with the requirements for participation in ZenDiS on October 29, 2024, the way is clear for joining. Daniela Behrens, Minister of the Interior and Sport in Lower Saxony, commented: "Participation provides the state with an unbureaucratic way to benefit from the experience of other states. It also enables participation in joint projects with a focus on the topics covered by the digital strategy. This can only be to Lower Saxony's advantage." More information can be found in a press release from the State Chancellery of Lower Saxony (Link). In addition to Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia have already met the requirements for joining ZenDiS.
